Our complex and challenging times have taken a toll on all of us with an impact on physical, emotional, and mental health. Yet, relief IS possible with simple mind-body practices designed to ease the sense of stress, overwhelm, and/or hopelessness. Experience the power of trauma-responsive Breathe Move Rest practices on your physical, mental, and emotional state.
Objectives:
- The impact of trauma/stress on the nervous system and how to intervene using mind-body strategies.
- Breathing for releasing, calming, and increasing energy.
- Regulating movements (accessible in a chair, and standing) for strength, focus, and overall-well being. 4. Rest for stress relief, reflection, and integration.
This course has been approved for 1 Continuing Education Hour (CEHs) from the MN Board of Social Work. CEP #2248. A certificate will be presented upon completion of this course.
