This presentation was part of the 5th Annual Mobile Mental Health Crisis Response Summit.
Brief Description:
Family Response and Stabilization Services (FRSS) services are aimed at ensuring the safety and wellbeing of children, youth, and their families/caregivers by providing them immediate support when parents/caregivers identify urgency related to behavioral escalation. FRSS provides immediate in-person response and coordinates subsequent stabilization services to children, youth, their families, and caregivers.
Three Learning Objectives:
- Family Response and Stabilization Services as a unique service model that has proven effective outcomes.
- How family/community engagement was the foundation for building FRSS
- The partnership between the county and community agencies (Nexus, Change Inc., Summit-Guidance) in supporting families.
