Bio:
The first 10 years of my career was spent working with youth experiencing homelessness in crisis shelter, TLP, street outreach and drop-in center programs. I obtained my LADC in 2013, after which I worked in both adult IOP programs for co-occurring disorders and spent many years as a high school-based drug counselor, where I provided counseling to students struggled with substance use and in prevention. I started my work as a therapist in 2020 after obtaining my MSW at Augsburg University and have provided therapy in IOP programs for SUD, in high school and community mental health clinic settings. Presently I work as a coordinated responder, providing crisis stabilization services within the Savage, MN Police Department, and maintain a small caseload of therapy clients through Club Recovery/Slate Therapy.
