Jennifer has a passion working and volunteering with underrepresented marginalized communities and believes person-centered responses benefit crisis response. Approaching crisis with a harm reduction lens reduces the stigmas, meets people where they are, and focuses on connection and dignity. As a current NBCC Minority Fellow and graduate student at Hazelden Betty Ford's Graduate School for Addiction Studies, Jennifer is focused on the role harm reduction plays in times of crisis and how this can impact a person's road to recovery.
