Kelsey Yale is a licensed independent clinical social worker in Minnesota who has worked in crisis settings in Washington and Minnesota since 2017, including the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, county-based mobile crisis, crisis diversion interim services, a 911 dispatched crisis team, and emergency rooms. Kelsey earned her Master of Social Work at the University of Washington with a concentration on Community-Centered Integrative Practice. She started her current role at Canvas Health as Manager of Mobile Crisis Services in April 2025, overseeing Mobile Crisis Teams that serve the Anoka, Scott, Carver, McLeod, Isanti, Chisago, Kanabec, Mille Lacs, Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe, and Pine counties. Prior to her role at Canvas, Kelsey worked for Canopy Roots on the Minneapolis Behavioral Crisis Response team from its launch in 2021 to Spring 2025. As Training & Development Manager at Canopy Roots, Kelsey developed clinical and practical training for behavioral crisis responders and participated in consultative projects with governmental partners.
